Just a Reminder

I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America
and to the Republic for which it stands:
one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

Now that's what I believe in; that's what I'm loyal to.

A republic, a real, genuine republic, not something else masquerading as one.

Under God.

Indivisible.

With liberty.

And justice.

For all.

Whatever happened to all that?

Professional politicians (with an amazing "retirement" plan which they gave themselves) as opposed to those who would serve then go back to their farms.....

The phrase "under God" was not part of the original Pledge. It was added in the 1950's as a protection and reaction against Communism. Do your research!

No research needed; I remember it very well. We recited the Pledge first thing every day in school, and it was tricky the first few days after the change.
