And are in danger of having the plug pulled on them before the misdiagnosis is discovered?Anastasia Theodoridishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16092531121989260111noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6546468339418636140.post-32668369834379663332009-11-26T13:55:35.134-05:002009-11-26T13:55:35.134-05:00It is a frightening thought. Nurses are usually taught to mind what they say around an unconscious person but after all these years people might well have got lax.margarethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07727534908302610374noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6546468339418636140.post-85206406794061788342009-11-26T07:46:46.730-05:002009-11-26T07:46:46.730-05:00I saw this in the news this week. I find it one of the most frightening stories I've ever heard.

Years ago I read a book with a title something like Unholy Sacrifices of the New Age. It started with the story of a man who's heart was being removed while he was still alive and conscious - a Mayan sacrifice. But then it quickly changed to the idea that this happens in our culture with organ donations. it scared me to death and I decided then and there that I do not want to be a part of any organ donation either giving or receiving. (God forgive me if I am wrong!)

And now we are told that this unresponsive man was able to hear all that was going on around him! I wonder if they spent time discussing organ donation in his presence. I wonder what horrors he experienced based on the talk around him.

God knows best what we need be it life or eyesight or lungs or kidneys or hearts. We may have passed what God wants us to know/do. Remember, at the tower of Babel He said that what man decides to do, he will doAnam Carahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03960986859370967282noreply@blogger.com
