You're going to have to connect the dots for me. When you look at these pictures, what obstacle to they portray?

The obstacle portrayed is liturgical abuse.
It's important to respect indigenous cultures. Nevertheless, Christian women should be taught to cover up better than this for worship services, don't you think?
And Christian men, too, need to learn to dress properly for the worship of God Almighty. It's appalling or delightful, depending on your perspective, to imagine what the native men may have worn at this mass.
