The sky is bluer than blue, the sun is shining so brightly you need sunglasses outside and your sheers drawn inside. It's what my mother-in-law used to call "the sun with teeth," meaning the cold will nip you, but it's still dazzling. The trees still have most of their leaves. You can hear dishes clattering as people get ready for their main meal in the early afternoon. "Our" lovey-doves are preening each other. Somebody's laundry is stirring in the breeze.
THIS, not that, is a perfect November Day!
